PRIVATE RETREAT FOR SELF-AWARE WOMEN

You did everything right. So why does your life still feel quietly constrained?

For the woman who is self-aware, capable, and respected, but still finds herself over-managing, over-explaining, and holding back what she really wants.

August 2026, Mediterranean. Ten seats. Applications close 15 July

THE PATTERN

You are not broken. You were conditioned

You have probably already understood your patterns intellectually. You can name them, trace their origins, explain them clearly to a therapist. And yet they still run.

That is because the patterns that keep highly self-aware women stuck do not live in the mind. They live in the body. In the automatic flinch before honesty, the tightening before desire, the quiet scan of everyone's mood before you allow yourself to want something.

This retreat works at that level. Not through talk therapy. Not through journaling prompts. Through precise, body-level interventions that interrupt the compliance loop where it actually lives, so the shift is not something you have to maintain. It becomes how you naturally operate

High-functioning obedience disguised as emotional maturity

THE PATTERN THIS WORK NAMES

IMAGINE FOR A MOMENT

What would it feel like if…

  • You said exactly what you meant, without rehearsing it first, without softening it, without scanning the room to see if it landed safely.

  • You let someone be disappointed in you, and your nervous system stayed calm. No spiral. No guilt. Just quiet clarity.

  • You stopped managing everyone's emotional experience, and discovered that your relationships actually got deeper, not worse.

  • You finally stopped performing the version of yourself that keeps everyone comfortable, and started living as the woman you actually are.

This isn't fantasy.

It is what becomes possible when your nervous system finally catches up to what your mind already knows.

01 / WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE

Nervous system-level pattern work

Not just understanding your patterns, but shifting the automatic responses that live beneath your awareness, at the body level where compliance was first learned.

02 / WHO IS IN THE ROOM

A private cohort of eight to ten women

Intentionally small, so there is no performing, no group management, no pressure to be "on." Every woman here has already done deep work. You will not need to explain yourself.

03 / WHERE THE WORK HAPPENS

Space designed for your nervous system

A private Mediterranean setting chosen for warmth, quiet, and safety. No overstimulation. No forced bonding. The environment is part of the work.

Integration that lasts beyond the retreat

04 / WHAT YOU LEAVE WITH

What shifts here does not depend on ongoing intensity. Women leave with a different relationship to desire, honesty, and self-directed choice, not a temporary emotional high.

Dana's story

Dana was the person everyone described as “solid.” Successful in her career. Emotionally aware. The one friends called for advice. From the outside, she looked steady and self-assured. But internally, there was a quiet calculation running at all times.
Scanning for shifts in mood. Adjusting her tone. Softening her needs before they fully formed. Making sure she didn’t take up too much space. She had done the work. Therapy. Workshops. Books stacked by her bed. She could name her attachment style and explain her childhood patterns clearly. But insight hadn’t stopped the subtle contraction in her chest when she wanted something that might disrupt harmony. Understanding didn’t stop the moment she would edit herself mid-thought.

BEFORE THE RETREAT

What Dana didn’t expect was how specific the work would be. Not dramatic. Not cathartic for the sake of it. Precise. Hiba helped her identify the exact microsecond when her nervous system chose safety over truth. The split-second when she would override her own desire to protect someone else’s comfort. And instead of analyzing it, they worked with it directly. In real time. In her body. Dana described it as, “ the first place where being articulate wasn’t the goal. And that was the relief.” Within weeks, she noticed something subtle but undeniable. She paused less before speaking in her relationship. She made requests without wrapping them in disclaimers. She disagreed without bracing for fallout. “I didn’t become more confident,” she said.
“I just stopped disappearing halfway through my own sentences.” And that changed everything.

WHAT SHIFTED

Women don't come here for motivation.
They come when something finally makes sense.

Here is what's waiting when you arrive.

Not just understanding your patterns, but shifting the automatic responses that live beneath your awareness -- at the body level where compliance was first learned.

1. Nervous system-level pattern work

2. A private cohort of 8-10 women

Guided by Hiba Balfaqih, whose work focuses specifically on high-functioning obedience disguised as emotional maturity. This is not general coaching. It is targeted, specific, and deeply informed.

3. 5 days of precision facilitation

4. Space designed for your nervous system

A private Mediterranean setting chosen for warmth, quiet, and safety. No overstimulation. No forced bonding. The environment is part of the work.

5. Integration that lasts beyond the retreat

THIS WORK IS KNOWN FOR ONE THING

It names what most spaces miss.

Meet Hiba Balfaqih

YOUR FACILITATOR

Hiba's work focuses on a pattern most spaces don't name -- and many unintentionally reinforce:

High-functioning obedience disguised as emotional maturity.

She recognized this pattern because she lived it. As a high-performing woman navigating multiple cultural expectations, she understood firsthand what it meant to be praised for compliance, to be rewarded for making things smooth, and to slowly realize that the version of herself the world valued most was the one that cost her the most to maintain.

That personal reckoning became the foundation of her professional work. Over years of deep study and practice, she developed an approach that works at the intersection of three disciplines

The questions women ask before they apply

  • Most therapy focuses on understanding your patterns, regulating your emotions, and communicating more clearly. Valuable -- and you've likely already benefited from it. This work goes to a different level. It addresses the nervous system conditioning underneath the patterns -- the automatic compliance, the flinch before honesty, the softening before desire. These are not things insight can reach. They live in the body's learned response to safety and risk. If you've done deep inner work and still feel something hasn't fully shifted, this is likely the layer that's been missing.

  • That hesitation is worth paying attention to. For many women here, the inability to create space for themselves is the pattern -- not a scheduling problem. The retreat is five days because the nervous system needs time to move through its full arc: from mapping, through interruption, to stabilization. A weekend isn't enough. A week would be too much. Five days is precise. And the women who come often say the hardest part wasn't being away -- it was giving themselves permission to go.

  • This is not a large, high-energy group experience. The cohort is 8-10 women, carefully selected. Every person in the room has done significant inner work. The dynamic is quiet, grounded, and deeply respectful. You won't be asked to share before you're ready, perform emotion, or participate in anything that doesn't feel safe. The group becomes part of the intervention -- not because of forced intimacy, but because being witnessed without needing to manage the room is itself a pattern interruption.

  • If you're asking this question, you are likely exactly the kind of woman this work is designed for. The women who come here don't feel ready. They feel something pulling them toward change they can't fully articulate yet. Readiness isn't a feeling of confidence -- it's a quiet recognition that the current pattern has reached its limit. You don't need to arrive healed. You need to arrive honest.

  • Your investment will be $3,500 (USD) for a shared room with a full board, all retreat activities, and, of course, exclusive access to Hiba during this time. Private Room: $4,950 (USD)
We understand that embarking on this transformative journey should be accessible to all. We provide an easy 3-payment plan: allowing you to pay for the retreat in 3 easy monthly payments.

  • It is. And it's worth being honest about that. This is not a mass-market retreat. It's a private, precision experience with a small cohort and direct access to Hiba across five days. The investment reflects the depth of the container, the intimacy of the cohort size, the quality of the setting, and the specificity of the work. Many women here have spent years and significant money on therapy, coaching, and programs that helped -- but didn't reach this layer. This is designed to reach it.

  • Many of the women who attend are practitioners themselves -- therapists, psychologists, somatic workers, coaches. This is not a training or certification. It's your own work, in a space where you don't have to be the competent one. For women who spend their lives holding space for others, the experience of being fully held -- without needing to manage, facilitate, or perform awareness -- is often the most significant part of the retreat.

  • March 21 to 25, 2026 in Spain.

APPLICATIONS CLOSE 15 JULY 2026

You are not broken.
You were conditioned.
The pattern can loosen.

The Permissionless Life is for women who are ready to stop managing themselves, and start living at the level their nervous system has quietly been asking for.

Applications are reviewed within 48 hours. If the fit is right on both sides, we will schedule a short conversation before enrolment. The cohort is small, and the work is specific. Not everyone is a fit, and that is the point.
